California Night by Ricky Dale Take a twilight drive down Highway 1. Warm electric piano, stacked vocal harmonies, and a smooth West Coast groove carry a couple through the twilight in a 1967 Ford Mustang convertible. Ocean waves breaking. Jasmine breeze blowing. A cold romance rekindled. Co-written with longtime collaborator Rick “Cubby” Katz, California Night is a 3:46 modern Yacht Rock / Indie-Pop single that blends 1970s soft-rock studio craft with contemporary retro-pop production. Written for open roads, late evenings, and one more try at the magic once thought was gone. Released: September 18, 2026 on all platforms. PRO: BMI / DSP: CD Baby © 2026
